Our Presence

Our greatest gift was freely given. Many beautiful teachings around the world point to a spiritual peace within, a peace not of this world, ever-present, and benevolently given. It is a gift even more subtle, more vital, than that of air and breath, yet powerful enough to heal the world over. We can be avenues for this peace.

We touch it in our quietest and most connected moments. As we engage in something we love and lose track of time, while we serve without expectation or obligation—with a heart full of affection and care—or simply sit alone empty of our thoughts in the rapture of stillness.

That is why it is not a peace of this world—it is not dependent on anyone or anything outside of us. Its existence isn’t even dependent on us. It simply is. And it is available to us always. We need only activate it in our individual experience.

Let us release this peace. As this gift of heart was freely given to us, let us freely give it to others. How? Let’s show up assuring we’re a little quieter in mind, stepping a little to the left of ourselves, allowing this peace to show forth in its tender way. The paradox is that this highest of gifts doesn’t require any money or even a to or from card—just our presence.

Presence guides our travels in perfect harmony with the world around us, healing it every step of the way.
